MRM / Mccann nos contactó para realizar una campaña anual de TV para IKEA. Una serie de anuncios de corta duración (solo 5") para promocionar las novedades en las tiendas en cada estación: Otoño, Invierno y Primavera.

Los anunción parten de refranes populares que reflejan la estación del año y a la vez integran los nombres impronunciables de los muebles suecos.

Nuestro planteamineto minimalista y moderno siguiendo claves visuales de IKEA, al mismo tiempo que centramos la atención sobre las animaciones y por tanto los producto que se promocionan.


JWT came up with a campaing for the healthcare Insurance company Asisa based on sharing health tips with the audience.

They wanted to create a minimalistic visual universe with few colours and simple shapes, to give all the importance to the recomendations.

This was our third year in a row directing an animation campaign on TV for Asisa. With three different international illustrators. We evolve the style of ASISA´s comunications looking for new visual resources, like the integration of gradients and animated textures.

En 2016 JWT nos volvió a encargar la campaña de TV para Asisa  “Duerme una hora más” Siguiendo la línea del año pasado se realizarón una serie de anuncios para televisión dando consejos de salud al espectador. Este año relacionando las pocas horas de sueño y los problemas derivados de este hábito. 

In 2017 ASISA changes its commercial strategy. From offering health and dental insurances, now they also have Life and Accident insurances too. The goal was to communicate that ASISA now takes care of their customers in other aspects of life.

Partiendo de la rejilla isométrica, empezamos a construir una estancia "realista" que cumpla con  la premisa de centrar la atención en el eje central, pero que al mismo tiempo cree espacio y perspectivas distintas. 

We produced twelve commercials for ASISA for the national TV campaign in collaboration with the illustrator Magoz. Two different teams, cell animators and 3D animators worked together to create the 3D camera movements supervised by Lanczos. We use the animation language to improve the storytelling and the different transitions between scenes.

We wanted the animation of the characters to be realistic but without looking like a rotoscopy. That the weights and curves of the animation correspond to the illustrations: minimalist and gentle. Also Strauniekas illustrations have gradient textures, so the final composition was very challenging. Check out the breakdown of the scarf scene in the video below.

Our main idea was the concepts of caring and protecting. Represented in the hands of ASISA. First this hands are taking care of you inside a medical practice. As the video progresses they take care of you in normal life situations.

Los objetos inicialmente eran elementos de Origami en papel, pero a medida que avanzaba la propuesta los objetos iniales cambiaron hacia formas más sofisticadas y abastractas.

El reto de la animación fué transformar en apenas 75 fotogramas los objetos iniciales en las novedades de Otoño. Además de la forma tambien habia que cambiar la textura y el color del objeto. 

El movimiento de cámara siempre parte desde arriba hacia abajo cambiando el angulo de inclinación  para generar una falsa isométrica.
